We are Looking for a lamp is a picture book based on a poem about children’s growth. The main story is about two friends who went on a journey together to find a lamp that represented their dreams and expectations. When they couldn’t find a lamp like others, they stumbled upon the sun as their lamp.
What I hope to express through this story is that everyone grows at different speeds and finds their dreams at different times, so don’t rush and let nature take its course.

Having walked so far, we are looking for a lamp.

You say, It is behinds the curtains.
Surrounded by white walls, with the wild flowers picked from the evening.

Having walked so far, we are looking for a lamp.

You say, It is on a small stop.
Let the train speed by quietly. Taking the sweet memories away.

Having walked so far, we are looking for a lamp.

You say, it is at the seaside. Looking as beautiful as a kumquat.
All the children who like it will grow up in the morning.

Having walked so far, we are looking for a lamp.
